Holography is a unique method of photography whereby 3D objects are recorded using a laser and then restored as precisely as possible to match the originally recorded object. When illuminated via a laser, holograms are able to form an exact 3D clone of the object and duplicate its features.

Security holograms are labels with a hologram printed onto it for sale security reasons. Holograms on security labels are very difficult to forge because they are replicated from a master hologram which requires expensive, specialized and technologically advanced equipment.

It contains many optical layers that contain 2D hologram images which are visually placed one behind another. This results in arriving at a 3D effect as each layer is placed at a different distance to our eyes in terms of visual depth.
